Jeonbuk Saemangeum Tech Platform University, operated as part of the Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE) and led by Director Choi Jin-ha, held a knowledge-sharing concert for local youth titled "Wisdom to Open Youth's Future," which received strong acclaim.

Held on February 5 at the International Conference Hall, Korean Sound Culture Hall, the event featured Profiler Kwon Il-yong and former professional Go player Lee Sedol as speakers. They delivered talks on the practical concerns faced by the younger generation and the changing currents of the times.

Profiler Kwon Il-yong, in his lecture titled "Psychology for My Value and Brand," addressed the importance of personal identity and choice. Former professional Go player Lee Sedol's lecture, titled "The Importance of Meaning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence," highlighted human roles and the value of human judgment amid technological advancement.

Planned under the theme "Uncertain Future: Time to Find My Own Answer," the event presented TED-style open lecture content designed to help young people reflect on their values and career paths amid uncertain social and technological environments. It was open free of charge to all residents of North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province.

Through this event, Jeonbuk Saemangeum Tech Platform University moved beyond conventional lecturer-centered, one-way instruction and showcased short, intensive, microlearning-based, TED-style content. The university confirmed the potential to disseminate high-quality educational content accessible to all.

It also created an open forum for knowledge sharing that made it easy for local young people and citizens to participate. This expanded the university's educational assets into the local community and strengthened the foundation for building an open education ecosystem.

All event participants received commemorative gifts, and a special prize drawing was held on site.

Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Saemangeum Tech Platform University will continue the lecture series on Friday, February 6 at Daisy's Hall, Jeonju Grand Hilton Hotel, by inviting Profiler Pyo Chang-won to speak on the theme "Enemies of Justice."
