A. Description of Responsibilities / Key Achievements

Responsibilities

  • Records Management & JBNU History Archives
    • Management of record transfer, appraisal, and disposal
    • Supervision, inspection, and training on records management for all university staff
    • Collection and management of historical materials related to the university
    • Organization, preservation, and utilization of records and historical archives
    • Operation and maintenance of the records repository and the JBNU History Exhibition Hall (permanent exhibition room)

Key Achievements

  • Records & Historical Archive Achievements
    • Records production report (2023): 4,779 volumes / 865,815 cases
    • Records management training held on Feb 13, 2025 for 40 staff including teaching assistants
    • Records appraisal conducted: 10,625 volumes of non-electronic records from 37 departments (incl. Finance Division)
    • Execution of record disposal: 10,501 approved volumes and 14,100 kg of unreviewed printed materials
    • Record transfers carried out: 2,007 volumes from 15 departments (incl. General Affairs Division)
    • Continuous operation of the RMS (Records Management System) and archive management
    • Ongoing management of the JBNU History Exhibition Hall
    • Support for archive access, reproduction, photo material requests, filming and media collaboration
    • Collection and donation of university historical archives: 30 items (2023), 14 items (2024)
    • Special Exhibition: “JBNU, 77 Years of Legacy – Toward 100 Years Ahead”, held for the university’s 77th anniversary (Oct–Nov 2024)
    • Memorial Exhibition for Lee Se-jong, the first martyr of the May 18 Democratic Movement (May–June 2025)
